Bolivia
Bolivia is one of two land-locked countries in South America and is bordered by Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, and Peru. Bolivia boasts the highest altitude on the continent with the Andes mountains, the largest commercially navigable lake in the world (Lake Titicaca), as well as records in biodiversity.
The City of Cochabamba, or "City of Eternal Springtime" is Bolivia's 4th largest (population 700,000; metropolitan population of 1,000,000).
Hogar María Auxiliadora is located in a small rural community, Itocta, just outside the city of Cochabamba. It is home to 45 orphaned, abandoned, or abused girls and young women. Please pray for these children as well as the Salesian Sisters who care for them.
